Hot water tanks
Hot water tanks, called liquor tanks in a brewery, are buffer tanks that contain hot water that will be used to sparge the grain bed during lautering to extract a maximum of sugars out of the malt.
This hot water storage tank is almost always insulated and can be heated through steam or an electric coil. Based on your brew frequency, electrical and steam capacity SBM can help you recommend an appropriate volume for your hot liquor tank.
