Steam boiler

When referring to steam boilers, we are talking about all steam producing machinery. This an be a high pressure, low pressure, steam boiler or steam generator.

At SBM we only design steam operated breweries as we see too many drawbacks when heating with direct gas (open flame) or electricity With steam the brewer does not need to worry about burning or caramelizing the mash and the power and reaction time of the brewery is a lot more elevated.
Another good reason for using steam is that it can be used to sterilize hoses and lines.

As all the heating is done with steam, the steam boiler is connected with steam piping to the various steam operated equipment items.
